06 Ford Focus 1.6 TDCI has a problem at 2-2.5k revs engine cuts acceleration and warning like light appears?

I can drive along a 60mph and theres no problem but the moment I need to overtake, a Warning light comes up and I loose acceleration. It doesn’t always do it, but usually I’ve been driving at about 65-70mph for a good few minutes or I’m going up hill when this happens. It only does it when the engine has warmed up and the engine is running at between 2-2.5k revs and almost always when I’m in 4th and 5th Gear. However once I’ve turned the Engine off and restart it, it clears and I can almost drive normally though if a bit warily in case it happens again.
A Friend of mine reckons it could be the fuel filter needs replacing but I wonder what others reckon?

The 1st experiment to prove my theory, take one blue led light and one white led light and a white cigarette filter, shine the blue light into one end of the cigarette filter, and shine the white light into the other end of the cigarette filter, and where the lights meet in the middle of the cigarette filter, the light will be Red,,,,, i.e. the combined blue light and white light will be ‘Red light’………

discharge warning light (battery icon) came on 1993 toyoya camry whats that mean?

Driving my car home last nite and my battery light came on (discharge warning light) it started today though fine what could be wrong with it im just afraid to drive afraid it will die

Surprise party for best friend?

Ok, my best friends birthday is coming up and I wanted to throw her a surprise party! I thought that I would invite her over for a sleepover, but all of her friends will already be there and we’ll have a dance party, I have a strobe light and everything. We are all going to chip in and buy her a different part of an outfit for that night and then give it to her so she can wear it at the party. Does this idea sound good and is there any suggestions to make it better? Any other good ideas? What should be the “goody bags” at the end of the night? We’re fifteen. Thanks in advance!

Do I have a chance getting the ticket dismissed if I contest it?

Incident:
I noticed the officer pulled over on the right shoulder of the road somewhere near mile marker 160, with his lights while I was driving northbound on I-75. Because of his lights being on, I moved over in the passing lane so not to interfere with the emergency vehicle.
Once I had passed the officer I noticed he shut his lights off and returned to the right lane northbound on I-75 as I was still in the left lane with the truck to my right and several cars in the left lane.
This placed a semi truck to my right and another vehicle in front of me and behind me.
I then noticed the officer moving into the left lane several cars behind me, which after several feet all of the cars moving back into the right lane. This then placed the officer directly behind me, the front of the truck to my right, and the other vehicle in front of me.
Needing to exit at the 167 exit (North Baltimore, OH) I moved over into the right lane as soon as the distance between the semi truck and the vehicle to my front allowed me to, while never exceeding the speed limit and in my opinion leaving myself a reasonable and prudent space.
Once I entered the right lane the officer followed me turning on his lights at or near mile maker 165 which I then pulled over onto the right shoulder of I-75.
The officer walked to my passenger window and asked me if I knew why he had pulled me over, which I informed him that I did not and that I knew I was not speeding. After he informed me that I was not speeding, he informed me that I was going to be given a citation for “following to closely”.
I contested this with him on the spot that I had plenty of distance between myself and the vehicle to my front, which he asked for my driver’s licenses and then went back to his patrol car.
He then returned back to my vehicle with the citation and informed me of why he cited me again and the information on the ticket and I signed the citation.
The officer asked me how close I thought I was and I stated that I had to be at least 2 car lengths away. The officer informed me that I was 12-15 feet behind the car in front of me which is to close and the reason for the ticket.
Again, after contesting this with the officer and asking him how he could tell the distance between my vehicle and the vehicle to my front, he told me I should had slowed down to get behind the semi truck and then moved over into the right lane, which he then told me have a good day and went back to his patrol car.
•Never did I exceed the speed limit and in my opinion with 20 years of driving without an at fault accident I felt that I had a reasonable and prudent space between myself and the vehicle in front of me.
•The weather conditions were not adverse, causing for extra distance between vehicles traveling that day. (As noted on the citation)
• The officer had no vantage point to tell how close I was the vehicle to my front. (He was directly behind me)
oWhat is the method that the State Hwy Patrol using to judge the distance between vehicles traveling?
oWhat was the officers method used to judge the distance between my vehicle and the vehicle to the front of me.
•The officer which had his emergency lights on was the cause for getting into the right lane.

"open door" warning light on VW Polo stays on!?

I’ve got a VW Polo 1.6 2006 hatch and I just had new brake disks and pads put in now and when I had left the garage I noticed the “open door” light (passenger door) was on – as if the door wasn’t closed properly. I checked the door and it was closed properly!

All doors are closed properly but the warning light still stays!
Also, now I can’t lock the car via the key because the car thinks a door hasn’t been closed properly.

What do you think my problem is?
Car door sensor? That’s the only thing I can think of!
Is it because I had got new brake pads and disks put in or is that just a co-incidence?

Does anyone have research on the effect colors have on people?

I’m looking for information and research regarding the effect constant exposure to colored light on people. I’ve looked for information on this topic for weeks now and have found almost nothing; mostly hokey (and completely unsupported) “color therapy” information and the general and vague “blue light makes people feel sad” kinds of statements. I want to get my hands on actual sourced information that looks at the effects of various colored light on people.

Can I still drive if my Emissions warning light has come on?

My 52 reg VW 1.2 polo’s emissions warning light came on a few days ago, there is no audible problem and everything else is fine. I was just wondering if it is still safe to drive. I will be doing roughly 60 miles a day until the weekend…. And does anyone know what might be the problem and possible costings…?

Have fun reading this by the way…I might get a bit carried away writing it.

I have been staying in a hotel for the past week in Rome and It’s a beautiful piece of architecture but it is VERY old, it has been modernized and looks gorgeous, It is 5 star so It’s not like…a creepy basement looking place under a hairdressers or something run by a creepy guy who wears a vest and you can see his chest hair and he always wears a robe. No..

Anyway, I have been staying there with my boyfriend, brother and his wife and a couple nights ago, I slept alone because they all went down for drinks, I was laying in bed and then got up, looked outside at the city and decided to have a little walk around the hotel, It is a very friendly place with security so It’s not a scary dungeon, I walked into the hallway in a hoodie and sweatpants, and It was FREEZING, So I put more warm clothes on and this big gust of wind came into my room and was cold. I got scared because I was in the dark, so I turned the light on, I watched TV for a bit until I was brave enough to go back outside, I put some more suitable clothes on to walk round in so then, I walked around for a bit but It was pitch black so I had a torch shining, and there was this hallway with paintings all down it, and I was looking at them and I saw their eyes move but I know that is just a trick of the light, I continued walking but felt like someone was watching me…behind me, I didn’t want to look behind me so I continued walking, I was really dark, and all these paintings staring at me, I stopped and looked at this book shelf and sat and read a book for a bit, but then I heard crying, I looked up and followed the noise, I do not believe in ghosts normally btw, as i followed the noise, lights flickered a bit and I saw a little better, but then they came on, then went off again like a slow strobe light, I was walking down this dark hallway and as the lights came on and off, I saw a young girl crying in the corner, she was very white, and wore white old clothes and as she looked at me looking at her, she just…stared at me with no expression, I ran back and didn’t care about the paintings, I got into the room and by boyfriend opened the door and he was like ‘What?…What?’ and I tried telling him and he didn’t believe me….

Should I go back there tonight and see if she is there again?
Oops sorry I was in Venice, I was in Rome last week.
