What would be good to take with me on a walk in the summer?

I am an avid photographer/writer, and I sometimes do my best thinking outside. This is why on Monday I was planning to maybe take a walk around my community and sit in a park or by a lake and take some photographs and maybe get some writing done.

So here’s my actual question. What would be good for me to take? Obviously I’m going to take a notebook/pen/camera, and most likely my iPod and phone (my mom would spazz if I didn’t take that). But what else?
Water, a snack, and money are good ideas (can’t believe I didn’t think of that)! Maybe sunglasses and a hat too…?

I’m probably going to end up bringing some kind of bag because I don’t want to lose anything.
